Race Comments: FUZZY BRITCHES bumped at the start, was kept in reserve during the early stages while riding along the rail, scooted into a good striking position during the run around the bend, while still not being asked for her best, commenced her rally after being angled outward at the three-sixteenths pole, gained steadily on the leader, took over and held safe under intermittent encouragement. JUDGE SONYA broke well, but was allowed to drop back, was unhurried until the half mile pole while saving ground, advanced towards the front runners under mild urging, swung outward after turning for home, altered course back to the inside in deep stretch, garnered place honors after displaying a good late kick. WILD NEWS cut the fractions while racing towards the inside, still held a clear advantage with an eighth to go, but was outfinished in the late stages. INDIAN BURN three wide around the turn, needed more during the stretch run. SWEET VENOM, bumped at the break, was rated stalking the pacesetter from the outside, came up empty when called upon in upper stretch.
